Extra Curricular Activities

We are committed to teaching children to be active.  This is one way to fight obesity, which is on the rise.  We have contracted with Gym Station, a company this teaches fitness to children in a fun and engaging way through the Flippers program.  They come once a week and teach Flippers to all children ages two through five in 30-minute sessions.  They use a variety of equipment such as bars, beams, and vaults and incorporate music, shapes and visual aids into their sessions. Parents do not need to sign up or pay extra for these sessions.  They are included in the currirulum received at Kids R Kids.  You can read more about Gym Station at www.mygymstation.com.

If you are interested in your child getting some individual personalized computer lessons, you can enroll him/her in PC Kidz. PC Kidz comes to our school once a week with their own computers and equipment to introduce and expand children`s computer literacy and technology skills.  PC Kidz curriculum meets and exceeds state and national technology standards, including the National Educational Technology Standards Project and the International Society of Technology in Education.  The curriculum is divided into five program levels with eight technology domains which are broken down into specific skills, objectives and activities that are introduced at the appropriate age and level.
